This project used data from the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent to Adult Health (Add Health) to examine the adolescent precursors to financial stress and alcohol misuse. Studies explored the interactions between family cohesion and parental support to understand family effects on youth development, as well as racial/ethnic variation in the prospective effects of family cohesion.
